Support Group

Word of Mouth!

While large donations are wonderful to receive (and greatly appreciated!), this type of gift is the non-profit exception rather than the rule. For small non-profits like THOR that respond to individual residential needs rather than large volume housing, grants are virtually non-existent.  Successfully doing this kind of service work happens only because enough people like you care enough to give something, and because  THOR's work is done by unpaid individuals.

6,000 people giving $50 would give  THOR the financial support needed to construct 2 new homes each year.

Please share our work and website with your family, friends, and those you know have been impacted by incarceration. Ask them to give, and invite them to ask their friends and family to do the same.

Collectively, together, we can do important work. Make a contribution by clicking the "Give" button above.

Brown Abstract Watercolor FRONT Book Cover (6 x 9 in) FOR THE RECORD.png Final.png

According to the Christian Church, Mary Magdalene was a prostitute who was healed of demonic possession by Jesus of Nazareth, and Judas Iscariot was a thief who betrayed the whereabouts of Jesus in exchange for a certain amount of money. In contrast, the Gospel of Mary holds that Mary was Jesus' Beloved, and the Gospel of Judas identifies Judas as Jesus' friend, raising reasonable doubt concerning the accuracy of the Church's accusations.

In For the Record: The Testimonies of Mary Magdalene and Judas Iscariot, the stories concerning these two biblical characters are remembered and presented in a new way, and Mary and Judas finally get to have their say.
